As part of our Warsaw Uprising memorial, this Sunday, we meet Prof. Zbigniew Pełczynski for an extensive interview about his role in the Warsaw Uprising and his hopes for the future of Poland on August 1 at 21:00 (22:00 CET). Plus, this Monday on London Bridge we commemorate the Warsaw Uprising of 1944, one of the bloodiest massacres of civilians in World War Two. Fine Art Skupienski meets Professor Zbigniew Pełczynski, who as well as being an academic authority in politics at Oxford University who taught among others the new Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and former U.S. President Bill Clinton, was himself in the Uprising and offers us an eye-witness account of the two-month long campaign to rid the Polish capital of the Nazi German occupation. George Matlock and Kinglsey review the papers, with more stories from Auschwitz, and Graham Jarvis debuts with MoneyStream - a business and investment look at modern-day Poland. Be sure to join us on Monday at 20:00 (21:00 CET). The show will be available on REPLAY for two weeks from Tuesday.
